Youtube (Red): Personalized recommendation
Online Video is getting bigger and bigger, so it's more important then ever to recommend user videos they really want to watch and keep users in your app.
If Youtube wants user to pay for its subscription service(Red), Youtube has to do better job about video recommendation.
If youtube can help me grow my skills by educating me with all these great videos, I may want to pay for it.
Users Watching Habit during different time
Users usually watch different kinds of video at different time.
For me, during commute, I want to watch programing related videos and learn some thing, during super time, I usually watch some entertainment videos with my family, other time.
Separate videos: entertainment and work/study
Recommend videos that are related with users' job
We as programmer, teacher, lawyer, doctor or student always want to learn and sharpen our skills.
Recommend videos: common soft skills
