Seems Express changed delivery fee policy: now each store has $15 limit - previously it's $15 for the whole order.
This change is bad and unfair to customer.
-- does amazon require $15 minimum for each store(or seller)? IT DOES NOT.
-- Most merchants provide free shipping on orders over $ - $50 for walmart.
-- If I buy $9.68 from walgreen, $$8.38 from Costco, I have to pay $6 shipping fee? I DO NOT THINK SO.
First, the selection is limited in these stores: a lot of goods are not available in Express.
*The delivery cost should be more flexible. *
If the whole order over $$(for instance $25 or $30), it's free.
Each store can have limit such as $5 or $10 - it's easy to match. But $15 for each store is too high.
Express wants to reduce the shipping cost for each order, but first Express has to attract more users. It's easier to make money when there are more users(scale effect). But if Express push users away, it's only bad for business.
Express should build the business that if users buy more, it make more money. Not just by reducing shipping cost.
Express should focus on more effective delivery mode.
Express can build business with user's shopping history data(for Ads?) or even show ads in Express. We(at least me) as buyer don't care as long as we can buy goods easier and cheaper.
Express can make big change, also with more effective delivery mode*like drone), the shopping and delivery business will get bigger and bigger.
Express please do better and be good to your customers and keep them before get better.
Save money and time for them, not vice versa.
